When is FTL or LTL transport at Cargonet most worth it?

Full truck load (FTL) and groupage (LTL) pay off especially in situations when:

  • You have regular deliveries on the same direction – lower price with long-term cooperation
  • You need control over the entire vehicle (FTL) – sensitive, urgent or valuable cargo
  • You send smaller batches (LTL) – don't want to pay for the whole vehicle
  • Punctuality is key – monitoring + dedicated supervisor minimizes delay risk
  • Load requires special conditions – refrigerated, tail lift, ADR, XL

Frequently asked questions – FAQ

What is the difference between FTL and LTL?

FTL (full truck load) = entire vehicle for one client – faster and safer. LTL (less than truck load) = groupage, load shared with other shipments – cheaper for smaller batches.

Do you perform refrigerated and ADR transport?

Yes – we have refrigerated semi-trailers (down to -25°C) and ADR-certified vehicles for dangerous goods.

Do you offer transport on weekends?

Yes – loadings and deliveries on Saturdays/Sundays are possible (with surcharge depending on direction and vehicle).

Is it possible to purchase additional insurance?

Yes, of course – we can extend coverage beyond standard OCP. Just indicate in the inquiry the desired insurance amount and declared value of goods. The quote will include this option.
